Everyone Has a Story

Today when you come across another human being, realize that they, too, have a story. We can learn something from anyone, how to survive, to thrive, to live a full life and what not to do with our lives. Everyone has a choice but we don't always have the choice to choose what happens to us....or what comes into our lives at any given moment. This is why I believe it is important to share our stories with each other so we know we are not alone, that perhaps what we feel is tragic in our lives is not as bad as we think as we learn from someone else what truly is tragic. We are here to help each other, to hold each other up and to come together as a species to overcome, encourage, empower and to use our human touch for good. A hug can do wonders for the soul that is broken...someone caring enough ask how you are and then to actually listen to the answer can make a difference not only in our day, but in our lives. Great friendships are made this way as well. The human spirit is strong and resilient, but fragile and needy. Everyone has a story. We need to listen to theirs and we need to tell them ours. Peace...
