Ahhh…that is what I said after I completed my list of things to do today that I fretted about last night. I fretted enough that I had adrenaline in my chest. Stupid things, things that really were not life changing. I tried to talk my body into listening to my mind, but it would have none of it. No matter how many deep breaths I took, the adrenaline was right there in the center of my chest haunting me throughout the night. I went to bed early enough to get a good night’s sleep, but laid awake for hours until when the alarm went off I had slept 3 hours. Frustrating.
It is funny how “not so important” things can take over your mind at night and show themselves as monumental in importance. Well…now I can say Ahhh because all of those things have been taken care of. I heard somewhere that if you write down everything you are concerned about on a post-it note and put it in a shoe box for a year and at the end of the year you pick up the box, open it and look at those post-it notes, that 99% of the things you laid awake worrying about…took care of themselves. So, I hope that today YOU can say Ahhh as well and enjoy your day…peace!
